Baby clothing question!?

Question

I'm due in 2 weeks! I live in western New York and it is expected to be between 40-50 degrees. What do I bring my baby home in? Does he need a bunting (fleece suit thing... my moms suggestion), or a sweater and a blanket and a hat? Any suggestions would be great 😀

I'm also in wny due in 3 weeks!  I am bringing a little hat, mittens (for scratching) and long sleeve outfit.  I do have one of those fleece bunting things just in case but I may just end up with a blanket over the car seat.

I was always told that put an extra layer on the baby than you have. So if you have long sleeves do a onesie plus long sleeve. I would say for sure a hat but the baby will be outside for a short time so cover with a blanket and you will be good! On my third and have always stuck with the rule!

I would skip the bunting- it's not safe for baby to wear a thick layer like that strapped into the car seat (same with a winter coat). Long sleeve outfit, hat, and super cozy blanket should be perfect!

I was thinking about buying a coat just in case because this Chicago weather is very unpredictable. They are on clearance so it won't be too much of lost if I don't use it

I live in Norway and baby is due next week. We've got a long sleeve/long pants outfit, socks, hat, and two blankets. One is cotton, one wool. I figure he won't be outside for very long so this has enough flexibility to get him home.

I'm from northern ny, and I'm putting him in a onesie, pants, a hat, mittens, and socks and then I have two fluffy blankets do keep him warm when we leave if it's to cold. You never know the weather this time of year
