gender at 13 weeks with level 2 sonogram?

I have a level 2 ultrasound when I'm 13 weeks and 2 days and I'm curious if they can tell me the gender that early. Probably such a stupid question but I figured I'd ask!

Probably not but I know some techs will guess. I always get the people who say "we don't look for that until after 18 weeks" which translates into "I'm no fun"

I had my NT ultrasound at 12 wks 5 days and they (the doctor and the tech) offered me a gender prediction because they both said it was pretty obvious. The tech said the best prediction you can get is an 80% accuracy around 13 weeks because the genitalia aren't done growing yet, so all they can look for is the angle. Even then, if the baby doesn't cooperate it can be very difficult for them to get an idea. Long story short, they will most likely be able to give you a prediction, but you won't know for sure until your anatomy scan around 18-20 weeks (around 95% accuracy), unless you opt for a blood test, which is closer to 100% accurate (assuming no human error).

I had my NT today at 12w5d. She said she hates to guess cause it's so early. She showed me how at one angle it looked like a girl then moved and she said "now that looks like a boy".  Basically they're guessing at that point so I wouldn't count on it.

This is my second and with my first it felt like I waited FOREVER to find out. Now it's number two I'm like, I'll know soon enough!

They don't normally schedule a level 2 until you're at least 20 weeks. Either way, they won't be able to tell that early.

The genitalia isn't fully developed until 16 wks. It'd be an educated guess.

I went yesterday for an ultrasound 13 weeks they said to early but I'm booked in for a 3D ultrasound they can tell you from 14-15 weeks :) if you can't wait it's a good idea but can be pricey I'm paying around $140
