My boyfriend's sister has only seen our daughter twice, it's been 3 months since the last time. Our daughter is 10 months old and will cry if she doesn't know you. I've only met his sister once myself which was at her house and she didn't speak to me which made it awkward, she also has no relationship with my boyfriend.
