teen pregnancy: update

I told my mom that I am pregnant today (I'm 16 ) and I've started spotting with slight cramps, if anyone is wondering she took it well because she understands being that she was pregnant with me at 17 and I just wanted to know if anyone here had spotting at the beginning and got a little nervous of it being a pireod and I would just like to also hear some stories about your guys confusion
