When did you tell your parents about pregnancy?

I couldn't keep it a secret anymore at 6 weeks, then had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. So I will definitely try and wait until 12 weeks next time. It was just so hard telling them we lost it :(

I was 11 weeks on Christmas so we told our families with cute presents. If it hadn't happened around then, I might've told them a little earlier, but likely not. Id rather make sure that baby was sticking around, it would be too hard to tell them then have to say I had a miscarriage or something, even to family.

I called my mom as soon as I got a positive test & my husband the next day after I got blood test confirmation, and then my dad and husband's parents a couple days later. I was waiting to announce the rest of my family/friends and the world until 12 weeks, but it ended in mc at 5 weeks. It sucked but it made going through the mc easier with our parents knowing.
