17 contractions?

I have had 17 contractions in the last hour and 30 minutes im 37+3 weeks. I was wondering if contractions like these can cause distress on baby? I dont have a ride  to the l&d right now so I am wondering what I should do?

Use the 5-1-1 rule. Once contractions are 5 min apart (start of one to start of next) lasting 1 min for an hour. That's when it's time to head to l&d

My Doc told me to drink two big glasses of water, take 2 Tylenol, and lay on my left side. If they are Braxton hicks they should ease up
