My doctor told me I could have one in the first trimester. I haven't. Because I haven't had the time, but doc says they're okay. If worried, I'd call my nurse and get their opinion. My nurse usually answers my questions like this within 24 hours during work week.

My doctor said it was fine for the first triemester too but I couldn't find a place that would do it. Most massage places won't do it until after you are in your second trimester.
