Why Do You Want a Baby?

I want a baby desperately. More than anything in the world. But I have a difficult time putting WHY into words... I guess I just know in my bones that I'm meant to be a mommy! So I'm curious, what's your "why"?

Absolutely the same. I want to be a Mommy so badly. I have done for years but we wanted to get married first. I got married in August and we fell pregnant in October, but unfortunately we lost my baby boy at 18 weeks, 6 days pregnant. It's made my need to be a mother even greater!! I'm the opposite. I don't really feel it in my bones :) but I logically decided to do it. The reasons are:

1. I would like to see a combo of my husband and I! I love him very much and I like to see what that would be like.

2. It is part of the human experience. Like, my parents had to deal with so much in their lives that was about their kids: picking schools, worrying about this and that, traveling with kids, etc. if I don't do this I would have no idea what their experience was like. My life would be drastically different than great majority of humans that came before me. Do I really want to never experience parenthood?

3. Old age. No one will care about us other than our kids, and that is not always given either. But I would like to have something to think about when I'm 80+ years old. If I get to that age 😄

That's pretty much it. It's not too strong though, if I didn't have my dh I wouldn't have a kid.

Growing up when I was asked what I wanted to be .. my answer was always a mom. I have a very nurturing sole and absolutely love babies/kids. They are a passion which is why I am a preschool teacher. I feel like my life wouldn't be complete until I have a child. I'm about to be 27 and feel like I really need to start trying. I've been with my bf for about 9 years now but I'm finally about to graduate with my degree so I'm trying to wait till the end of this year. My baby fever is at an all time high!!!

I love being Aunty to all my nephews and nieces and my friends children that I yearn for my own children to be called mummy and to feel life inside growing.. to be able to look at a child and know that I created that beautiful life. ❤

I love being a mommy and hubby loves babies. He wants a baby girl. We already have a son but we just love kids. We always dreamt about having our own since we were dating. The typical "how many kids do you want one day?" Question as teenagers lol.
