Anyone know of a home vitals monitoring system that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? My fiancé has a sleep machine cuz he stops breathing at night but sometimes he can't wear it and when he does it falls off. I get so worried I can't sleep. Wondering if there's something I can use to monitor his vitals at home and alert me if something is wrong

He is not wearing the CPAP correctly if it's falling off. Those things should be tight on his face! Have him talk to his doctor again, he needs to be either refitted or re-shown how to wear it.

Also I'd feel more comfortable if I can find some type of alarm that he can't rip off so even if he takes off his cpap I'd be able to sleep..

They also have different types of masks. Ones that just cover the nose or nose and the mouth. Maybe he needs a different type.

The problem with anything with in alarm the pramiters are set for work outs not for sleeping.   Even with a CPAP it isn't abnormal for your oxygen to drop below what the norm is.   Nobody will get any sleep then.   Sounds like he needs to have a refit or try a new mask.

Well I've seen him rip it off a few times gasping for air which I don't understand since there's plenty air being forced down his throat. But also a lot of times he can't even wear it cuz of the vog (volcano fog) makes his nose stuffy n it's useless

Yea I know I'm saying it was just be very uncomfortable hooked up to that and monitors. How does he feel about it

Maybe he needs a better mask? I cant imagine a monitor being more comfortable and easy to keep on if he cant keep his cpap mask on

It's sleep apnea and I'm not aware of anything like that for home use. Does he want to be monitored liked that? Going to be very uncomfortable being hooked up to that and his CPAP and probably won't get any better sleep than he does now...
