They say its not safe because most of the time its not pasturized. But I've honestly had ricotta cheese a bunch and have had no problems. I eat a lot of italian food 😂

Ricotta is made from milk & vinegar. It isn't an unpasteurised cheese so it's fine.

Just has to be pasteurized, I have been staying away from the homemade really good stuff and sticking to Polly-O and the like.
