confused about anniversary

Hey everyone. Last night my boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary. Well, more accurately, we saw each other in the midst of fulfilling a lot of other obligations and then slept at the same house. When we got home, we exchanged gifts. I got him tickets to a concert with an artist that he had missed before our relationship started because he wanted to come support me in a play I was doing. He gave me his hoodie that he's had for the entirety of our relationship and that I've always joked about stealing. At first I thought it was really sweet, but now I kind of feel like he didn't put in any effort. I also told him that if he wanted to do something to celebrate our anniversary this weekend that he would have to plan it, as I have a ridiculously busy week and have planned every celebration we've had together. And he didn't plan anything. He has an exam on Friday, so maybe that's part of it, but I can't help feeling kind of... neglected? Am I crazy?
