Hey ladies. I know you all have some funny or interesting stories about pumping at work. I would love to hear them. I went to pump at work the other day and there was a guy in there taking a call. I'm the only lactating mom and I get first dibs on the room (HR has a sign on the door that says it is a lactation only room until further notice, but people still use it anyway). I don't mind when I have to wait a few minutes for someone to wrap up in there, but it's a little annoying when someone sets up there whole desk in there and tell me they have a conference call they need to take or something. Anyway a guy was in there with the whole setup (laptop, desk phone, papers everywhere). I knocked and told him I needed to pump. He looked at me really confused and said oh I'm about to start a virtual meeting, sorry about that. I started to walk in a little and was like ok well scoot over just a little bit. He was mortified lol!!!! I was just joking but his eyes were about to pop out of his head 😂😂😂. I just used my car because he seriously had a long *ask meeting he was doing and I needed to pump. He has never used the lactation room since but I think next time I will just pump next to whoever is in there.
