baby has her days/nights mixed up

My daughter is 10 days old and has her days and nights severely mixed up!! We have tried a bedtime routine since we came home from the hospital but I don't know what it's working. She stays awake and fussy from 1am-7am despite feedings and diaper changes and only wants to sleep if help. How have you dealt with this?? Disclaimer: we do not want to cosleep/don't feel comfortable with it.
