39 weeks and still no progress. Anyone else?

39 weeks.. Cervix posterior.. Not dialated.. Anyone else? Supposed to go in Monday night to start being induced. Nervous!

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and have not been checked but don't get your hopes up.. dilation means nothing and things can go from 0 to 60 real quick! I refuse any type of intervention so I'm in it for the long haul with this little guy.

I was induced at 41+2. I was barely 1cm dialated, 70% effaced, and my cervix was not quite forward enough. I was SO bummed because I had dreamt of a natural labor and birth. We had to start with the folley balloon to get me to 4cm. Then we did cytotec and had to wait 4 hours to start pitocin. 24 hours after starting pitocin I was still only dialated to a 5. At that point I got an epidural. Labored for an additional 12 hours, pushed for 4 hours (for a total of 47hours) to the point we could see her head, realized something was wrong and that she was stuck. I had to have an emergency c-section where we discovered that my daughter had a meconium aspiration and my pelvis is misshapen so no baby could ever get out! It was the craziest thing ever. Everything that I planned was out the window. We didn't get delayed cord clamping, my husband didn't get to cut her cord, I didn't get instant skin to skin, I kept passing out on the operating table. Two days after being discharged from the hospital I was deadlifted for endometritis (uterine infection) from my surgery. It was very devastating, but my daughter is completely healthy and I'd do it all over again if I had to! I will pray for a speedy, safe induction for you and baby!!! Not all inductions are as crazy as mine lol However, I believe it was 100% my body's fault and nothing to do with being induced.

39 weeks , scheduled for a c-section Monday morning ! Haven't been checked ever , but haven't lost my mucus plug or anything .

I had my baby naturally at 41 and 2 days. I had  my older daughter naturally at 40 and 2 days.
