what's wrong with me?

My period is 16 days late. I am sexually active and my boyfriend does cum in me. I am not in any form of birth control. Anyways, I have been having lots of pregnancy symptoms but the pregnancy tests keep coming bck negative. I actually went to the doctors, on Tuesday for a blood pregnancy test and tht too came bck negative. So whts going on? Anyone know?
