DOES GETTING AN IUD HURT??

Hey girls! So I'm very very confused about which Birth Control method I should use. I don't want to take the pills because I will forget to take them even if I put an alarm on my phone to remind me to take them, so with that in mind, I'm strongly suggesting on getting the IUD method. But honestly, I can't take pain so idk if it's gonna be a pleasant feeling. Does getting the IUD hurt? Please lmk below how your experience was and does it interfere when you are having sex with your partner. 🤔

I recommend it 100%. Yes it hurts going in but it just feels like a bad period cramp until it's fully inserted. The process for me took about 2 minutes. At first youll have cramping and weird periods but trust me, it's worth it in the long run. But every one handles pain differently so if you're too worried about the pain of it I'd say go for the pill.

I just got mine on the first of this month 3-1-17. 
It has been the most painful thing I've ever done. It effects everyone differently tho. The cramps are unbearable, but I haven't had a baby, and they say it's worse for women who haven't. Just do your research, take Motrin, and breathe.

I have had one myself now four 4 years looking to renew next year and I wouldn't look back. Its a solid method that is effortless nothing to think or worry about. Yes there is a little discomfort when inserting/removing but i would personally say it's definitely worth it.

It's uncomfortable but only last about a min of insertion. No it wouldn't interfere with sex. Maybe If the strings are too long your partner will feel it and your doctor can cut them short. But my partner doesn't mind it and it's a good feeling knowing it's in place. I don't regret getting mine.
