half way through my IVF stim process and my cycle was cancelled 😔
Today I am so depressed and disappointed my IVF cycle was cancelled on day 5 of 10 of my stim cycle. I have PCOS and Endometriosis and I asked if 450ius of gonal F would be too much since I am already at high risk of over producing because of the PCOS. The doctors and nurses all said the dosage was fine. So I stimmed at 450 from Sunday to Tuesday. I went in for bloodwork on Wednesday. I was told I was very responsive to the meds as my E2 was 1488. They brought my dosage down to 150 for my Wednesday stim and I went back this morning for more blood work. They saw about 40 follicles and my E2 jumped to 3977. So I got a phone call saying my cycle had to be cancelled.
I'm so disappointed. This journey is so tough and to make it worst my boyfriend thinks I'm over reacting by being upset. I had surgery in November and because of that and my boyfriend's "normal" semen analysis my insurance company cancelled the last IVF cycle days before it started. They told us we had to do 3 IUI's first. We did one and it was a bust. Our "normal" semen was beyond sub par after the wash. I did an appeal before starting the 2nd IUI and was approved for IVF all for this cycle to end like this. So now I have to take BC for 21 days then Lupron for another 10 before we can start again.
I'm so emotional and feeling defeated....I can't wait to just have my baby.
