Nipple Piercings?

Does anyone know if you get your nipples pierced if I can still breast feed? I would obviously take the rings out before I attempt it, but I've heard it's not possible to breast feed after they are pierced.

Yes you can breastfeed. I had mine done, not in anymore. I breastfeed for 18months

The piercing is not through the nipple itself (and thusly, the milk ducts), but underneath it, pushing your nipple to a more permanently extrovert position. You shouldn't have breast feeding problems, but I guess it varies on how experienced your piercing person is and if it's in the right spot.
