Bachelorette Party?

Need advice for a FTM.

My good friend is having her bachelorette party 2 months after my baby is born. I want to go, but I'm not sure I'll feel the same way once baby gets here. Is 2 months too soon to be away for 2 days? Would love to hear what you experienced moms would do.

My sister in law is having her bachelorette party 1 month after my baby is due! I just told them that I'd love to pitch in for her portion of costs but not to include me in planning for hotel rooms etc. I don't think I'll be up for going but I told them you never know! If I go my husband will go with me and we'll have our own accommodations and I can take a couple hours here and there to do stuff with them, but I won't be ready to leave my baby. Her wedding is 1 month after that and my mom will be traveling with us for that so we can relax and let loose a little then, but baby will be close by. 😊 Maybe see if your mom or significant other can go with you so you can have a little bit of me-time, without having to leave baby for too long? If you aren't up for it I'm sure they'll understand if you say yes then cancel! 😊

Did you end up going?  I’m due in May and my cousin is planning a bachelorette cruise I’m August.  Baby will be 3 months.
Can she stay home w dad?  Can she fly?

I guess it depends on what plans you have for your baby. My baby slept in the room with my husband and I and I was exclusively breastfeeding, so no way would I have left for 2 days at that age. I was just too much of my babies comfort at that age still.
