What is married life, 7 + yearslike?

Are men really this fucking lazy?   Do you have to Do the majority of the work?

My husband busts his ass every day. We've been together for almost 9 years, married for 6+ and his work ethic has never wavered. At home he doesn't do all that he should, but he also works 60-70hrs/week, so I can't get too upset about it.

Mine is kind, loving, and a hard worker. He pulls his weight around the house and at his job - and would do anything to make me happy. 
Laziness and complacency is something that is tolerated and grows. If you want something different, make it known, and make changes!!

I stopped getting angry  at my husband. We been together for 10 years, married for 6 in August. I make him lists of chores he has to do. Things like hang this, take out the collection of boxes for recycling, fix this or that, and I grab him to help me fold clothes. He works 50-60 hours a week, we have a son, and I do most of the house work as I am a SAHM. Currently, he is also taking a programming class for a certification so I hardly see him on Thursdays.

When he comes home its his job to put the baby to sleep, bathe him (if he needs it) afterspending  time with him. Our baby goes to sleep at 7:30pm and we spend time together/ eat/  and until midnight I let him unwind byplaying  video games. I clean up and prepare for the next day, I watch a friends baby 3 times a week.

I cant tell you how much lists work and rewards. Like, I will leave you alone to okay video games if you do this and this... or sexy favors lol

I broke my back while pregnant. He helped me get dressed, pushed me around in a wheelchair, scratched my unreachable itches, and helped me put my shoes on. He said nothing about the weight gain from not being able to exercise.

If a fully able bodied person is doing nothing around the house, they are just lazy. But if a man were working all day to pay my bills I would make sure the house was spotless and dinner was on the table when he got home.

Its give and take. I give back what he puts in.

My husband isn't lazy at all. Not all men are like this but unfortunately, a fair bit have been so coddle their entire lives that they are hella lazy.

lmao. dang girl. no it isnt a 'men' problem. my husband is not lazy at all. he helps with splitting the chores. sometumes he does laundry more than me.  You need to put your foot down lol. make him do his own laundry or cook his own food. he will get tired after a while then u can tell him this is how u feel.

I've been married ten years this year and my husband has already been really helpful with house stuff. Is that what you're talking about? At home or for work? He's been in school until last year, now he's a dentist. He works 8-5, it can be stressful but he does laundry, dishes, helps with the kids. But he's always been that way. Have you talked to you SO. You need to talk to him in a way he won't get defensive. Tell him you appreciate what he does and that he works hard (even though he may not 😆) but that you need more help. See if he's extra stressed with something you may not be aware of. Then go from there. If he wants to be a deadbeat then now you've talked and you get to decide what you want to do. I'm sorry, that must be hard doing everything on your own!
