Have you tried Lotus Birth?

Question

I am a FTM and my daughter is due in 7 weeks my Husband and I are going to do the Lotus Birth. if you did it please tell me what it is like.

I'm not keen on carrying around a rotting organ attached to my baby, but you do you.

I was interested in it but couldn't find any evidence of benifits. That plus I wasn't too fond on having to carry the placenta around with baby. I did delayed cord clamping but I wish I would of delayed it until placenta was born. That is a good middle ground for me. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck mama!
