FTM- safe for baby to sleep overnight?

Question

The bassinet can sit inside the pack n play or be removed. Is the bassinet safe for overnight sleeping while baby is in my husband and I's room for the first few months?

Looks like the baby isn't laying flat, so no. There is new research that babies really need to be totally flat even if they have reflux. Apparently, the way their esophagus and trachea are formed, if they are elevated at an angle, spit up can get into the esophagus and if they are laying flat, it can't.

It's fine for newborns but once baby can start to roll you'll need to move baby to the pack n play.

I got the graco day to night system. The bassinet comes out and goes on a stand and the baby lays flat. I like it because its tall so I can see inside of it while laying on my bed.

I'd read the manual. It'll usually say if it's okay for sleeping or not. I have the same thing but I only let my baby nap in it.
