My sister lives in San Diego, and I live in our home state of Ohio. She moved out there probably 5 years ago.. anyway, she's planning a visit home with her boyfriend this year, and told me that she wanted to plan the visit for June or July. I am due in August.. I was really confused and asked why then, and she said so she could make my shower whenever I have it. I told her that I would rather her come for when then baby comes in August, but she says "You'll need time to rest" and that she figures she will come back in 6 months or a YEAR to meet her niece! That infuriates me. I could understand if she couldn't come for the baby at all because of finances or work, but when she plans on coming anyway so close to when I'm due? It just baffles me that she wouldn't want to be here to meet her niece.😔
