They called and I asked for the results to be sealed in an envelope and then picked up the envelope. 

I thought we were going to get results in person at our next visit, but my midwife called me and told me the day before because she "didn't want to make us wait any longer than necessary" to know that all the genetic test results were clear. That part was a relief, but I kinda wish my husband and I would've heard the gender at the same time.

I happened to have a sonogram scheduled for a week after I got the blood test so she told me in the office at 12 weeks!

I called the dr a few days before they said the results would be back and they had them early

They had me wait until my next appointment to tell me.According to them, only the doctor can tell me the results and she didn't look at them until my appointment
