First Ultra Sound?

I am only 5.5 weeks pregnant. Is it to early to find a doctor and book my first ultra sound?

Call your doctor and tell them you're pregnant, they ask about your period most likely, and go from there. With my first pregnancy my first ultrasound was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks, with my pregnancy now, it was 4 weeks. All depends on the practice and you 😊

You call your doctor and they tell you when your appointment will be and your first scan. 8-12 wks is standard

You can schedule an appointment but they won't do anything until like about 10 weeks.

My orginal appointment was at 6 weeks, I called when I found out at 4w 5d. But I had some problems that I had to go in at 5w 5d and they found the baby and heartbeat. But sometimes that early people don't. Some doctor wait a while to see you, but I would call and get an appointment set up.
