Relationship issues !!!

Hey girls, well i am honestly confused because i'm living a secret like relationship with my boyfriend, we go out almost everyday; we go out with his friends and once with his uncle , but theres one problem: his mom, he doesn't go out with me to restaurants or "too public" places because we live in a very small town and news travel fast, and his mom is a very traditional person, and me and my babe are from two different cultures .. and he says he can't sit with me in public places because he's afraid of people seeing us and him having issues with his parents.. idk whether i shld be offended or shld i just be more accepting of this?
