is Spotting normal at about 5wk3d? am spotting on and off

When I clean in the morning I see bright red mucousy blood on the tissue. This has been going on for 3 days. No pain or cramping. My doctor's office asked me not to come in until a week from now. Is spotting normal at all?  I didn't have it for my daughter. Mommies please share your experiences. Thanks

I had spotting from 6 weeks to about 10 weeks. Just light. Everything has been fine since and im now 29 weeks

It can be. I had spotting with both of my last two pregnancies,  but I also had spotting and no pain with my mc. So, it's hard to say. Let's stay positive and hope for the best. With my son it was a light pink, and with my daughter it ranged from Brown to red.
