The point is that this type of lifestyle is so normal now whereas only 100 years ago this actually didn't exist in most of the world and was definitely not normal.
I think this is really interesting and definitely the result of our love of convenient food that is often highly processed and stripped of anything nutritious.
Even more importantly I think it shows the power the lobbying industry has on us nowadays to push their agendas to keep consumers in the dark about what is really healthy. Ie: the sugar industry rejecting that sugar consumption has any link to obesity or diabetes.
*edit- I'm not talking about just fast food you pick up im also talking about foods we think are healthy like juice, spaghetti, low fat, artificial sweetners, food colorings..
