I'm considering having a Doula with me for my delivery. Is anyone else considering this or have hired a Doula for a previous delivery?

We'll be hiring one. It's our first and we both feel more comfortable knowing that someone in the room has been there and done that and knows if everything is proceeding normally.

I had a doula for my first and have already contacted her for this baby. It eased my mind to know that I would have someone there for me through the entire labor since the nurses change and the OB is really just there at the end. My husband was supportive of my decision to hire her but thought it wasn't really needed. In the end I think he liked having a "non-medical" person there with him and she was able to guide him in ways to help me.

I'm having a scheduled c section and will have a post partum doula to assist when I come home.

I didn't get one with my first and regretted it. This time I made sure to get one! I think it'll definitely help me, but also help my husband relax and not have to worry about me the whole time.

Currently im considering hiring a doula, a lot of women I talk to say that their husbands have been so helpful and supportive during birth they didn't need a doula but honestly I think mine will fall out so I need that extra support.
