tanning while pregnant?

My gym has stand up tanning beds. Is it safe after a certain point in pregnancy to use them or just nah? I can wait 5 weeks just asking what other people have heard. I forgot to ask my doctor at the last appointment.

Not safe at all! :/ I actually worked at a tanning salon for a while and we weren't even allowed to let pregnant women tan. It's really not ready for anyone, but especially unsafe for pregnant women. Embrace the pale!

Tanning/ tanning beds or never safe! It lead to premature aging, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles oh and SKIN CANCER! That if left untreated can lead to death! Always wear SPF 30 or higher!

3 years ago with my first my dr told me tanning is fine if you don't over heat. Go half your normal time and use fans while tanning. I did it once and quit because of the negative feedback from friends and family. No evidence or studies show harm to baby, but yes tanning can be very harmful to yourself!

My dr said they will not cause harm to the baby so tanning beds are safe in that sense. I've been spray tanning which has helped me feel better!
