Random crying post-orgasm?

Question

Sometimes my partner and I will be doing stuff, and once we've both orgasmed, I just have an overwhelming need to cry. There's never any emotion attached to it- I always feel pretty great, considering- but I end up sitting there for like 10 minutes just crying. It really puts a damper on things.

Is this normal? Does anyone else deal with this?

I think it might be similar to when you learn to breath correctly with your diaphragm for singing. when your muscles and diaphragm loosen up enough to get more air, sometimes the motion around your gut causes a lot of crying. it's a weird sensation, but a lot of emotion is stored in your gut. I'm just saying a hypothesis though.

I'm with you. I've only done it once but like you, there was no explanation for it. I think it was like happy Tears or something! I think  when you orgasm it's a huge release of hormones and it can for some women, be like a flood gate opening and the tears come out.
