Are there any pregnant women currently on WIC or food stamps? Also do you qualify to receive benefits even if you're married?

A little back story. My husband and I both work full time. Our bills are so much and on top of that once the baby is born I will be paying 500 monthly for health insurance for all 3 of us.

Our grocery bills for the two of us now, and we are very humble when we shop, is 400 a month.

I don't splurge on haircuts, new shoes, or clothes. I don't smoke or drink and my husband doesn't either so our money doesn't go to stuff like that. We try and keep our expenses down but I don't think our paychecks are helping. I work 40+ and my husband works 40 hours a week and yet we still live paycheck to paycheck. Our savings are down because we purchased everything baby needs so he will be fine. He doesn't have to do without. We also have a good amount of diapers saved up and wipes. If he can't breastfeed then we will have to resort to formula and I know it's expensive.

So after hearing this, do you think I'd be better off on WIC or Food stamps?
