Are daith piercings effect for migraines?

I've had headaches/migraines for over a month straight now and I'm at my wits end. I'm willing to try anything. What do you guys think? Are daith piercings effective or is it a myth?

I had both daiths done last year after speaking to a lot of people, I suffered with debilitating migraines at least 5/6 days a week for 16+ years and since I've had them done I get 4/7 a month. I did a lot of research and spoke to people to find out where theirs were done, I found a great place and I'm so happy I went for it. I have a lot of piercings anyway so the thought of another 2 holes didn't bother me, you can always take them out and let them close up if they don't help you, any things worth a try.

If there's anything to it, it probably depends on what kind of migraine you're having and whats causing it.

My sister-in-law has suffered from debilitating migraines since she was a child. She would get them at least 5-6 a week.  She's 28 now and got this piercing two months ago and has not had one single migraine.

I'm not sure, I've read they can be  helpful! I see a chiropractor for mine and that's helped me a lot! I used to suffer daily/weekly and now only get one once every few months. Maybe get the piercing done and see if it works! Good luck!
