What are you/did you do? How did you decide? How is it going? Advice? Regrets?

I go back tomorrow. While my husband makes good money and i could have stayed home we would be financially alright, I also have a great paying job that between the money we will put away our children's college will be paid for, any activities like sports or classes will be paid for an we can take our children on trips to show them the world. Our 3 month old already has a passport future travels. Plus I like my job and our childcare that we have arranged I really feel comfortable with.

I'm not going back because childcare costs more than what I made at work. I'm working on a master's degree and will graduate in December of 2018, so I'll likely just be a stay at home mom and student until then. I don't mind, but money is pretty tight.

My husband n I decided that I will be a stay at home wife/mom. I worked in cosmetic retail but was miserable around catty women. We both knew if I started working again that I would be either slacking in some ways as a mom or at my job n would hate every min of it. My husband is a truck driver so we can afford our living expenses on his pay. I am in charge of our finances n bills while he just worries bout working. We coupon to help pay for groceries which helps out a lot, saved $112 yesterday during our shopping trip that included formula for our daughter.

I have one week left! 😩 This is my 3rd baby so I've been through it before but it never gets easier to leave them. He's soooooo little.

I love my job as an occupational therapist and do geriatric home health which is super rewarding. I set my own schedule with patients And feel it's great job as a new mom. My company has been awesome in letting me take 16 weeks off and come back at a reduced schedule. I still have one month and am so conflicted with being happy to go back and dread/guilt  of being seperated from my baby. Financially it will still work better for us, but I know the first week will be a lot of crying on my part 😭😭

I'm a night shift labor and delivery nurse. I got back in 2 weeks and am struggling already. I'll miss him so much

My job gives 16 weeks paid maternity/paternity leave and my husband works there too so we've both been home since 1/5. We go back 4/27 and we are both absolutely dreading it. The thought of leaving my son makes me want to take a bridge lol

Last week was my first week back and my daughter goes with me. It's so stressful! I work with a bunch of good ladies that help out a lot but then I feel guilty that they are taking time out of their day to take care of my kid. I'm only working through the end of this year and then I finally get to be a sahm! It's only taken 6 yrs lol

Today was my first day back. I'm only able to go back part time bc childcare is so expensive, not that I would want to hand her over to a stranger anyway. I can only work until 2 bc hubby has to be at work at 2:30.
The hardest part was leaving. I swear every cell in my body was urging me to turn around! It wasn't as hard once I was there bc I love my job and missed my work kids. It was hard when people asked how I was doing or how the baby is doing. I kept saying "she's good,  I hope!" 🙄 I cried on my drive in and I cried when I got home and finally got to hold her again. That was the longest we've ever been apart! 
I think it'll be even harder to leave tomorrow but thankfully I'm only working 3 days this week and next week. I can't wait for Thursday to be with her all day again!

I have a good job and like it alright but I believe it's better for me to stay home, than bring $400 home after expenses. I rather find a way to make some money. It does make me nervous for sure and will have to make sacrifices but I'm ok with it.
