Hand emulsifier. Easier clean up and smaller to store. Although any blender would be fine.

A regular blender or food processor does the trick! I think I got my blender for like $20 at Kroger. It's Oster brand.

I got a baby blender at my shower and never used it. Blender was quicker and easier. And my son also prefers solid food and was off purees fairly quickly. My opinion is the baby blenders aren't worth the money.

I just bought a small kitchenaid brand food processor. $40 at Target. I had returned a Baeba blender thing because i wanted a small food processor and not a baby only appliance. The little kitchenaid works quite well after cooking/steaming the item. Baby F loves butternut squash!
