a few questions here! FTM

Last night at about 8pm I started having contractions about 30-60 seconds long and anywhere from 3-8 minutes apart at about 12am they started going further and further apart till eventually I could fall asleep. This morning at about 5 am I started having contractions again 4-5 minutes apart last 60 seconds for about 45 minutes and then started going further apart. Since about 1030am everytime I wipe there's a lot of clear jelly with streaks of red (mucus plug) I think most of it is gone I lost a big chunk earlier(will post pic so beware) and also my contractions have roughly been about 60 seconds long and like every 8-12 minutes or so apart. Asking for opinions on here on what I should do, if should keep waiting, if I should go to hospital, if anyone's experienced this, or has any idea on if I might be going into real labor soon please comment and let me know your opinion, I've called my doctors office about 5 times to try and figure out what to do but no one answers and it's really frustrating but I'll try again later.
