I used to get these, I found that exfoliating the area before shaving really helped and applying coconut oil after kept it smooth

There's some creams for ingrown bumps you can buy. I suggest shaving the direction your pubes grows (shave going down). I recommend the Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor!
