Help, 10 year old possibly first period!
So I work nights and my 10yo daughter is at home with her father.
I get a call "it's an emergency you need to come home now!"
So I try to remain calm and ask what happened. "I don't know" he says "she said she's bleeding you have to come home I can't deal with this!"
I ask to speak to her and she advises me after she peed there was blood on the toilet paper.
I was able to calm them both down and told her to check to see if she was bleeding still. She checked and said no. I had her wait an hour and check again. Still no blood. She has finally peed after 3 hours of me searching the internet while I'm at work and no blood, but now I'm wondering is it possible for a 10 yo to get their period. I was like 12 or 13 so this is kinda freaking me out. I thought I had time!
Maybe possible UTI, I'm not sure what signs to look for I've never had one and she said it doesn't hurt to pee.
It was so long ago I don't remember what a first period is like. Would it be light at first and get heavier later on? Is she even old enough to get it yet?!
