5 weeks and spotting?

I'm five weeks and when I went to wipe, I noticed light pink discharge, I'm having pain, like my lady parts just ache. I have had light cramps in the past but nothing that had made me nervous like this.

Update! I had spotting again, at 6 weeks and 4 days. Went to the ER and had it checked out. I have placenta previa, which the doctor told me is odd for me to have since this is my first. Baby is fine though, we even got to record their heart rate, which was 123 and normal. So baby is fine, and mommy is on a week of bed rest. Even got to take home a ultrasound photo!!

I went through this right around the time my period was due. It's very common to spot and cramp in the first trimester. But let your doctor know. They will probably test hcg levels over a couple days. This happened to me

I'm right there with you too.  According to this app I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and had pink/red blood when I wiped today and have continued to have that the rest of the day with dull period like cramping and major bloating. I go tomorrow for my first blood draw to check levels.  Prayers that everything turns out ok for you!

if it's pink or brown, and light in flow and contains no blood clots it's most likely Implantation blood which could occur that far in it all depends on the person.
