I lost my virginity. Do I tell my mum?

So about a week ago I lost my virginity to my boyfriend it was both of our first times and we were both ready and both wanted it. But my parents are really strict and I don't know if I should tell my mum or not. Me and mum are really close and tell eachother most things but I don't know if I should tell her and if I do what exactly am I supposed to say? Please help!!

You can tell her if you'd like to. I personally don't see why people feel the need to tell their parents when they have sex. Unless it's a bad situation like they forced you or something.

I'm super close with my mom and when I lost it at 15 I didn't tell her. I just felt my sex like wasnt her business. Being married I still don't think my sex life is her business but it's easier to discuss occasionally since I have a daughter lol

If you feel comfortable with telling her, then by all means go ahead! Your sex life is your business and if you want to keep it that way, that's cool too. But, if you find yourself in a place of trouble, want to go on birth control, or if you're confused about anything and have questions, I'd suggest talking to your mom. Don't worry about judgement, above all, your mom cares about your health and safety. Hope all goes well with whatever you choose to do! 😊

It's all up to you, if she's open about these kind of stuff and you feel like you can talk to her about it without having her getting mad or what not, then tell her if you want. If she's the opposite, I wouldn't tell her. 
I told my mum a few days later I lost it because she's always been open with me and she was really understanding about it.

Considering that your parents are strict, you need to consider what she will think about this. How old you and your boyfriend are may play into that. I think it really just depends on your relationship, do you feel comfortable telling her? Its not a have to tell thing but if you want to confide in her, go for it. I really think it depends on the relationship with the mother...and how comfortable you are thinking about her reaction..
