A water phase with my rugrat

So I'm watching Rugrats with my own Rugrat. There is an episode where Tommy the baby is afraid of water. Tommy and my boy are the same age. Braeden recently has been afraid to take baths. Like won't go near the tub or freaks out when the water turns out. Before hand he LOVED the tub. I've had get in with him the past few times just get him cleaned and why not get myself cleaned at the same time. Are we the only ones experience this? I've got toys in the tub and lots of bubbles. I give him a calm nature but it is a screaming fit to get this boy cleaned if I don't go in with him.
