pregnancy after miscarriage?

Has anyone who had a miscarriage got pregnant shortly after? I had heard of a few people but didn't know this was a real thing or just a coincidence. Please leave me a comment if you have any insight! I need some hope right now

I had a D&C and waited until after my first period to TTC again. I didn't really try - plus we both had a stomach bug - but I did get pregnant. I've heard that after miscarriage, just like after giving birth, you're more fertile. Anecdotally this seems to have been true for me!

I've also seen a lot of women on here try immediately after miscarriage (once the bleeding stops but before first period) and be successful.

There was a study put out recently that suggests that if you get pregnant soon after a loss, you are statistically even less likely to experience another miscarriage. I wish I could remember the name of it, but it's escaping me right now.
