Does depo provera cause infertility? 😓😭

I stopped depo last year January, took me a year for my periods to be regular again, and I still haven't been able to get pregnant.. does it cause long term effects like infertility? I've done research and some people can't even have kids now😥what's your experience? Pleeeaasseee let me know!

No it doesn't ladies I was on depo provera for 4 years straight I came off it august 2015, periods returned 6 months later, I used preseed ovulation kits and seven seas trying for a baby pills. I got pregnant august 2016, I'm now due a baby girl in 3.5 weeks time :) it doesn't make u infertile it just takes longer to conceive coming off it. Before them 4 years I was on it... I'd also been on it prior to that. I was on it for 2 years, came off and conceived within 2 months then too so it varies really don't lose hope!! Xx

I was on it for ten years until my doctor told me to come off it due to the fact it may cause bones issues later in life.  I had tried to get pg with my now ex and trued on and off for a year... nothing happened i did think i was infertile. Doctor was ready to do tests but i split up with now ex due to him classing me as barren...... so year later i meet my oh and after a month or two of trying i fell pregnant......  i really put it down to it not being with the right person.

I'm in the exact same boat... stopped depo February of 2016 and my periods still aren't regular... had one in December, February, and march so I was like yay normal cycle! But then 10 days after stopping my period in march I got another one that lasted 4 days. Idk what the hell is going on and I'm just as nervous as you. Good luck to both of us! 😓😓😓
