Gental induction..??

I'm having a home birth with midwife and she recommended a gental induction... anyone with an idea of what this may mean??

How far along are you? I'd just ask what she means. If you've had your sweep I'm not sure what she means either, I'm curious😊! I feel like she wouldn't break your water unless you were in actual labour.
