Movements above belly button

I am currently 21+2 and I had a check up yesterday. I mentioned to my doctor that I felt the baby kick really high up the other day and he felt my belly and said "Your uterus is only as high as your belly button right now. Anything above that is gas." Logically, I know this is true, but I swear I felt a swift little baby kick! Anyone else have this feeling?
