Seasonal Birth Control !!!

Since I was 14 years old I have been on birth control pills called seasonal. Seasonal only allows you to have your period four times a year. The reason I had to get on bc at a young age is because I had cysts on my ovaries and they erupted which caused me to be on my period for 2 months straight. I'm 21 now and this past year I have not been taking any kind of birth control, because it got to where I was not having my period at all. During this past year even off of the birth control pills my period only came like three times. On Wednesday April 5th 2017 I got my period for the first time since November 2016 (Thank Jesus). I went to the gyno in November and she gave me these pills to actually make me start my period, because in November 2016 I hadn't had my period since July 2016. Has anyone else had these problems since using Seasonal? If so, when did your period straighten out?

Yes, I was on something similiar. It takes about a year for it to straighten out again.

Thank you. Ive just been so worried. I don't want it to cause future problems when I'm ready to have children.

last year I stopped mine and my cycle was such a mess they put me on something that helps me get my period but I felt like it worsened me and made my body dependent on it. once I stopped that a few months later everything started to become regular. It will get there just takes time!

That makes me feel a little better. It's been a little over a year since I haven't took it. My gyno even tried to put me back on it after all this mess. I was like, "NO, thank you!"
