Sushi while pregnant?

I'm having such a hard time staying away from sushi. Anyone eat sushi during pregnancy regularly?

My whole pregnancy I've been craving sushi but would rather stick to the safe side  lol although I do eat ham and I've been fine I think if you no it's fresh then you will be okay :)

I know people who have, but I wouldn't risk it. You can have California rolls and any rolls with cooked fish/shrimp

There are cooked sushi rolls that the fish isn't raw at all and are safe. The main thing is to avoid high mercury fish.

I had sushi during my pregnancy and I gave  birth to my daughter 9 days ago and she is super healthy.

I did for my pregnancy with my first baby.. and everything was fine.. I haven't had any with this pregnancy because I haven't craved it.. but I'm had shrimp and octopus cocktails and everything is going fine so far.. I think they say u can eat it but only to a certain extent because of the mercury that the fish carry or something like that

I ate sushi throughout my last pregnancy, I just chose things low in mercury, and made sure I went to a clean, reputable place. I'm hoping to go out to sushi soon and I'm 12 weeks now with #2.

I made My own. Just didn't have salmon/fish sushi. 
Made my own chicken sushi. Had to wash the rice a million times, but as long as it's fresh (hence why I made my own) you should be ok to eat it. Told my midwife this and she agreed.

I ate sushi with raw fish through both pregnancies and had two healthy sons. I'd say it's fine because of the food safety laws in the US. Just don't get your sushi anywhere shady. Always buy from a respectable restaurant (If I have to resort to supermarket sushi, I only get the vegetarian rolls).
