Would you ever have a man other than the baby's father in the delivery room?

Today my cousin said he wanted to be in the room when I have birth. Before you think I have a creepy cousin, my cousin is quite a few years older than me (I'm 19 and he's 27) and has really taken me in. My parents kicked me out when I was 14 and he's always been protective and like a parental figure for me. Well now my boyfriend might not be around for when our baby is born, and I'm terrified to give birth all alone. I am still unsure of it though. He isn't forcing the idea, he just mentioned it and I'm still thinking it over.
