does the line darkness really matter?

Okay so I've been testing all week & my line still isn't the same shade as the control line. Should I be worried? Have anyone ever kept light lines & still carried to term? I'm either two days late or due today depending on what my cycle was going to do lol (pcos smh)

Line darkness matters as in: your line is getting darker as the days progress. It being darker than the control line is not as relevant as it darkening as the days go - which it is. Congratulations!

My line wasn't as dark as the control line either, but I'm 10 weeks now. Blood tests indicated hormones doubling like they should. I don't think you have to worry :) congratulations!

I only tested twice and the lines were light. I'm 26 weeks now so I would say yes.

Looks like theyre getting darker,  to me, but honestly after one positive youre good. Thats just a waste of money lol. You need to give blood to see if the hormone is doubling.

My line wasn't as dark as the control line. I only took 3tests and they were all the same. Even when I took one a week apart from the other, it still wasn't as dark as the control line. I'm 31weeks now. As long as the line is getting darker I wouldn't worry.

I see great line progression there, so I think you're okay. I did the same thing and had similar line progression. Now I'm 32 weeks. :)
