hi anyone who has faced apple allergies in their LO??

My boy is 6 months + gave him stewed apple for the first time.he was uncomfortable after..didn't sleep and was figity..but after say 4 to 5 hrs he started developing a rash.his discomfort was increasing..everything else that he consumed was already given to him earlier so I am narrowing down on the apple.but apple allergy really?? Isn't it unheard of????

You can have an allergy to something up to 5 days of exposure to it.

Could just be a viral rash. It's very unlikely to react to something the first time. It's usually the second time given. It would also likely by instant reaction. Certainly within a hour. My 2 youngest often get viral rashes but are not unwell and you wouldn't know. Also places like the bottom are humid anyway so more prone to minor rashes. My baby gets little red spots in neck. Due to her chub. It clears up though and not to do with food

My son got a slight rash from the apple but it was just the type of apple, he's like me if it's too much citric acid he gets a rash.
